This past Thursday we had a nice time together, we were able to share some
stories with each other and also we wrote on pieces of paper names of people
who have touched our lives who did not survive cancer. We tied those
names to balloons and released them in to the night sky. Jolene shared a
poem with us, which was very touching. We missed having Geri and Judi
with us and they are in our thoughts!
Some of the ladies will be
walking in the Susan G. Komen walk in May as well. The hospital did a
wonderful job with the refreshments; they had pink frosted cookies,
strawberries and pink drinks as well as water.
We'd like to thank Inez and Eric for all their hard work on this meeting!
