April Activity

This past Thursday we had a nice time together, we were able to share some stories with each other and also we wrote on pieces of paper names of people who have touched our lives who did not survive cancer.  We tied those names to balloons and released them in to the night sky.  Jolene shared a poem with us, which was very touching.  We missed having Geri and Judi with us and they are in our thoughts!  

 Some of the ladies will be walking in the Susan G. Komen walk in May as well.  The hospital did a wonderful job with the refreshments; they had pink frosted cookies, strawberries and pink drinks as well as water.    

 We'd like to thank Inez and Eric for all their hard work on this meeting!

April 18th Meeting

Eric and I have put together a Pretty in Pink Party for Thursday night.  We have a fun game we are going to play and also a few other little things.  If you can wear pink that would be great, if you have friends, family that would like to come support that would be great also, can you let me know if you do so I can plan for that.  Also we will have information about the Susan G. Komen Walk.  Can't wait to see you on Thursday evening starting at 7pm at Timpanogas women's center meeting room..OUR USUAL ONE!!!

This past Thursday Sister Survivors met and had a great time making breast cancer bracelets. The bracelets that were made are available for purchase. A special thanks to Geri and her family for making this activity possible!
